Protagonist Srikant Tiwari, played by actor Manoj Bajpayee, is set to return to the OTT platform screens in his fan-favourite, โThe Family Manโ, in November this year.
The much-awaited third season of the hit spy action-thriller series will premiere on Prime Video on November 21, the streamer said on Tuesday, adding that the โstakes and dangers are higher than ever beforeโ in the new chapter.
โOn the run, Srikant must navigate uncharted territories while confronting threats and enemies from both within and beyond the nationโs borders,โ read the official plotline for the third installment.
Created by filmmaker duo Raj & DK, the latest season will see Bajpayeeโs character of Srikant Tiwari, an elite undercover agent, continuing to juggle the complexities of national duty with his turbulent personal life.

โIn this season, the stakes and dangers are higher than ever before, as he [Srikant] is pushed to his limits when he comes face-to-face with formidable new adversaries in Jaideep Ahlawat (Rukma) and Nimrat Kaur (Meera),โ the statement added.
Season three also brings back actors Sharib Hashmi, Priyamani, Ashlesha Thakur, Vedant Sinha, Shreya Dhanwanthary, and Gul Panag on board.
The makers said they wanted to ensure the new season is โworth the waitโ.
โWe know the audience has been patient, and we wanted to ensure that the wait was worth it. This season, the hunter becomes the hunted, as Srikant faces a threat unlike any before โ one that endangers not just him and his career, but his family too,โ Raj & DK said in a joint statement.
Written by Raj, DK, and Suman Kumar, with dialogues by Sumit Arora, the series also sees direction by Suman Kumar and Tusshar Seyth for the upcoming season.
Nikhil Madhok, Director and Head of Originals, Prime Video India, hailed the show as one that has โredefined long-format storytelling, becoming part of everyday conversations and cultural discourseโ.

The first season of โThe Family Manโ debuted on Prime Video in late 2019 and received glowing reviews. The second season, also starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu, premiered in 2021 and was also praised by the critics.
