Saif Ali Khan has a secret social media account, says Neha Dhupia

Addressing the darker aspects of social media that celebrities endure, particularly trolling, actor Neha Dhupia revealed an interesting story about how Saif Ali Khan handles the situation.

ย

Speaking during a recent interview, Dhupia recalled a conversation she had with Saif a few years ago on her show.

ย

The former Miss India and actress said even though Saif has no official account on social media, he admitted to having a private account.

ย

โ€œFive-six years ago, during an interview on my show itself, I was talking to Saif about trolling. He said he is not on social media, but he has a private account, and sometimes he reads the stuff that’s written. He said it is going to get so bad, there’s going to be policing to an extent where the cybercrime department people are going to find you. And it is getting there; people have been found,” said the โ€œA Thursdayโ€ actress.

ย

Neha also highlighted how trolling has intensified, specifically citing the recent malicious use of artificial intelligence to generate fake and harmful content aimed at actresses.

“What happened with a couple of actresses recently, whether it is the wrong usage of AI and showing stuff across, it is getting there. I am happy that people are being pulled up. It makes me angry, but now I have reached a point where I am thick-skinned, that ‘ab farak nahi padta hai’ (It doesn’t affect me).”

ย

On the work front, Dhupia will next be seen in the upcoming Netflix show โ€œSingle Papaโ€. The series also stars Kunal Khemu, Manoj Pahwa, Prajakta Koli, and Ayesha Raza.

ย

Saif Ali Khan, meanwhile, is busy shooting for โ€œHaiwaanโ€. The film is helmed by Priyadarshan and also stars Akshay Kumar. The project will mark the duo’s on-screen reunion after 17 long years. The film is expected to hit theatres in 2026.
