Basketball superstar LeBron James has turned 41 today. The four-time NBA champion continues to defy his athletic limits on the basketball court. While the average NBA-career lasts about 4.5 years, LeBron, however, marks one of the longest careers and has maintained his elite performance for more than two decades now. Letโ€™s explore LeBron Jamesโ€™ fitness philosophy that helps him maintain his high level performance. The Netflix documentary โ€œStaring Fiveโ€™ gives glimpses of a typical game day for James. The day starts by waking up at 6:30 am. By 8:30 he arrives at the training facility. At 8:45, he does cold plunges for 10 to 15 minutes at a time. This is followed by team shootaround and workouts. For James, a 2 hour interval from 12pm to 2:00 is reserved for his nap. Then, practicing and warming up for the match from 2:30 to 7pm. He takes a massage and stretching treatment in between.
