Actor Akshay Oberoi has started filming for his upcoming romantic courtroom thriller titled “Love Lottery”.

Arvind Pandey is directing the film while Kuldeep Bhargava ‘Tushar’ is producing it under the banner of Cinema Ganj Film, a press release stated.

“Love Lottery” is described as “an intense courtroom drama that mixes romance and suspense”. It also features actors Heli Daruwala, Kabir, Duhan Singh and Vijyant Kohli. The shooting for the film has started in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.

Oberoi, known for his role in action thriller “Fighter”, said he is excited to work on the film. โStarting the shoot for ‘Love Lottery’ in Dehradun has been a really nice experience. The city has a calm and beautiful vibe, and it feels great to begin this journey here,” he said in a statement.

Oberoi will next feature in Yash-starrer “Toxic”, which is set to release in theatres on June 4. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film also features Tara Sutaria, Kiara Advani and Nayanthara in pivotal roles.

The actor will essay the role of Tony in the film.
