Iranโs Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed it targeted a US F/A-18 fighter jet near Chabahar and released a video as โproofโ of the strike. Tehran said the jet was hit by its air defence systems and later crashed into the Indian Ocean. It is pertinent to note that the F/A-18 is among the fighter jets that had been offered to India.ย
