Bollywood actor Sanjay Mishra is set to star in the neo-noir dark comedy Arjun Bewakoof. Backed by 8th Pillar Motion Pictures, the film also features Rajesh Tailang and Dolly Singh. It marks Mishraโs reunion with director Smita Singh and writer Anand Raaj, following their earlier collaboration on Andaman.
Sharing insights about his role, Mishra described his character as eccentric and driven by revenge. โI play an โatrangiโ character, who enjoys revenge. Itโs layered, unexpected and has a very different energy to it, something Iโve truly enjoyed exploring as an actor,โ he said in a statement.

He also highlighted his strong bond with director Smita Singh. โIโm doing this film only for Smita. The bond we share goes way beyond that of a director and actor. Thereโs a certain trust and comfort that makes the collaboration very special,โ he added.
Filming for the project began in March. The movie also stars Malvi Malhotra, Jigisha Joshi, Shikhar Mishra and Satendra Yadav in key roles.
Mishra was last seen in Vadh 2, which was released in February. Directed by Jaspal Singh Sandhu, the film also starred Neena Gupta alongside him.
