A viral video by a San Diego-based dancer has raised concerns that US troops may be casually revealing sensitive deployment details to the Middle East while visiting nightclubs near military bases. San Diego-based stripper and exotic dancer Charm Daze, who has 900,000 followers online, shared what she had been noticing at bars near military bases.
San Diego is home to major US military installations, including Naval Base San Diego, Naval Base Coronado, and Camp Pendleton, with numerous nightlife venues located nearby.

In a clip posted on Instagram, Daze said she has noticed a recent surge of young servicemen frequenting bars and clubs around military installations in San Diego. The dancer, who has a large online following, claimed that many of these soldiers appear “depressed” and are openly discussing their scheduled deployments while spending heavily at these venues.ย
She said several of them mentioned they were set to be deployed as early as next week, raising concerns about the casual sharing of potentially sensitive information in public settings. “Something I’ve noticed lately is that all the military guys are coming in, and they’re spending all of their money. They’re kind of depressed…They’re like, ‘Oh yeah, we’re gonna have fun,’ but you can tell something’s off. And then they’re like, ‘We deploy next week’,” Daze said.
She added that the interactions have been emotionally affecting, describing the soldiers as very young and vulnerable. “A lot of them are really kind, and to see these, like, young guysโฆ coming in and then dancing with them. To see these young guys and then being like, ‘bye,’ it’s actually making me emotional,” she said, describing the soldiers as “baby-faced” and “fetuses.”ย
Daze captioned the video as an “observation” from working in clubs, but it has since gone viral, fuelling speculation about a possible escalation involving the United States in West Asia.

The video also triggered reactions online, including from Marine officer and influencer Kagan Dunlap, who cautioned troops against sharing such information publicly.ย
“PSA: Don’t tell your adult entertainer you’re deploying. You gotta remind your folks: Don’t talk to your barber about when you’re deploying. Don’t talk to your adult entertainer about deploying or when you’re leaving, or what you’re doing, dates and times, and locations. Because they don’t know any better, they’re gonna post a TikTok video about it,โ he said.
The development comes amid reports that the Pentagon has placed thousands of troops on standby for potential deployment, including personnel from the 82nd Airborne Division, further intensifying speculation about rising tensions in the region.
