The film, which had its world premiere at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in September 2025, follows the story of a fading star accused of rape, shining a light on systemic injustices, silenced voices in courtrooms, and the harsh realities of a deeply flawed legal framework.
Besides “Bandar”, Deol will also feature in the action-thriller “Alpha” alongside Sharvari and Alia Bhatt. The film is directed by Shiv Rawail. He will also appear in the Tamil action-drama film “Jana Nayagan”. It is directed by H Vinoth.
