OโConnor has earlier spoken of his film and said he thinks of it as “an underdog story about the human spirit”. “I started thinking about building a story around a homeless kid who doesnโt have a place in the world. No love. No friends. No family. The only home he knows is the streets. It felt like a great place to begin a characterโs journey and tell an underdog story about the human spirit,” he said.

Seehorn’s latest work is “Pluribus”. The series started streaming in 2025 and features the actor in the role of Carol. It revolves around the actor’s character, a cynical romance novelist who becomes one of the last immune humans after a mysterious RNA signal from space infects humanity, turning the rest of the world into a perpetually happy, peaceful, and content hive mind. It also features Karolina Wydra, Carlos Vesga, and Miriam Shor.
