Zendaya just dropped a major emotional confession about filming โSpider-Man: Brand New Dayโ alongside her real-life partner Tom Holland.

This highly anticipated project marks the superstar’s fourth film with the Marvel franchise, following her iconic runs in โSpider-Man: Homecomingโ (2017), โSpider-Man: Far From Homeโ (2019), and the record-shattering 2021 blockbuster โSpider-Man: No Way Homeโ.

Helmed by director Destin Daniel Cretton, the film is officially locked and loaded to take over theatres on July 31.

“‘Spider-Man’ was a dream; I get to go to work every day with my best friend, the person that I love…We bring our dogs to work; itโs like a family affair. We grew up on those movies! Itโs like coming home,” the actor said in an interview.

Zendaya will also feature with Holland in Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey”. Though she won’t have any scenes with him in an epic action, she said it allowed her to watch Holland on set. “I could have cried, I was so proud,” she said.

The film is set to release on July 17 and features Zendaya as Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom and protector of Odysseus and Holland as Telemachus, the loyal son of Odysseus.

Zendaya and Holland dated for over five years prior to their engagement in December 2024. They reportedly got married earlier this year.

When asked about the same, the actor said she won’t talk about the topic. “No, Iโm not going to do that. Theyโre always searching for something,” she said.
