Apni Party President Altaf Bukhari said when representatives of all groups and parties joined hands for the interests of Ladakh, Centre was forced to initiate a dialogue with them to address their aspirations.โ We must learn from that pattern of unity so that Centre understands the need to start talks on issues that are important for J&K, he said adding Apni Party is ready to support any party on this.

Pertinently, the Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) has been consistently giving ย a unity call to all regional political entities to collectively advocate for the restoration of full statehood and constitutional rights andย for this the senior leaders have repeatedly urged all parties to set aside their political differences. They advocate for an all-party delegation to meet with the Prime Minister to press for the immediate restoration of full statehood with all the powers held prior to August 5, 2019.

โUnfortunately, many people in Jammu and Kashmir tend to vote either on the basis of political dynasties or religious affiliations. This is why one particular party won 29 seats in Jammu, while another secured 42 seats in the Valley. Both parties, in different ways, misled and allured voters in the name of religion.โTaking a dig at the ruling NC, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari said that the party had misled people during the elections with false promises and lies.
