Triptii Dimri calls ‘Maa Behen’ a great experiment

Actress Triptii Dimri has penned an emotional note for her โ€˜Maa Behenโ€™ co-stars Madhuri Dixit Nene and Dharna Durgaa following the release of the black comedy drama. Calling the film a significant milestone in her career, the actress described it as a rewarding and enriching experience.

Taking to Instagram, Triptii shared a series of behind-the-scenes pictures from the sets, offering fans a glimpse into memorable moments with Madhuri Dixit, Dharna Durgaa and director Suresh Triveni.

Reflecting on her journey with the film, she wrote, โ€œThis one will always have a very special place in my heart.โ€ She added, โ€œEvery single day on set brought something differentโ€”from endless laughter and unexpected moments to memories that made the entire experience truly unforgettable.โ€

Triptii also highlighted how the project challenged her creatively and contributed to her growth as an actor. โ€œIt was a wonderful experiment for me as a performer. It pushed me into unfamiliar territory and allowed me to discover and explore so much more within myself.โ€

The actress expressed her admiration for veteran star Madhuri Dixit Nene, saying she thoroughly enjoyed working alongside her. โ€œ@madhuridixitnene Maโ€™am was an absolute delight to work withโ€”graceful, warm and incredibly generous as an artist. Sharing screen space with her was truly an honour.โ€

Triptii also thanked writer Pooja Tolani for her constant support and guidance throughout the process. โ€œ@poojatolani.21 was always there, helping, encouraging and guiding me. She played a huge role in helping me uncover different layers of my character, and Iโ€™ll always be thankful for that.โ€

Speaking about her camaraderie with co-star Dharna Durgaa, Triptii wrote, โ€œ@dharnaaaaa, despite all the fights our characters had on screen, there was only love, warmth and friendship between us off screen.โ€

โ€˜Maa Behenโ€™ follows the story of Rekha (Madhuri Dixit), Jaya (Triptii Dimri) and Sushma (Dharna Durgaa), whose lives are turned upside down after they discover a dead body inside their home. The film then unfolds through a mix of chaos, emotional twists and desperate attempts to cover up the incident.
Directed by Suresh Triveni and backed by Abundantia Entertainment in association with Opening Image Films, โ€˜Maa Behenโ€™ premiered on Netflix on June 4.
