What happened at the Asia Cup last year?

In 2025, the Indian men’s team made it clear they would not accept the trophy from Naqvi, yet the PCB chief remained present to hand over the title, and the presentation was delayed by over an hour.

After India did not receive the title, Suryakumar did the Rohit Sharma strut from the T20 World Cup 2024 final as the team celebrated without a trophy.
