Rita Ora steals the show at Women’s T20 World Cup final

British singer-songwriter Rita Ora lit up the stage with her performance at the Women’s T20 World Cup final at Lord’s on Sunday.

Ora captivated the crowd with her performance, adding a touch of glamour to the monumental sporting event.

ICC official Instagram handle shared glimpses of Ora’s performance with the caption, “Mesmeric. Majestic. Rita Ora set the stage alight for the #T20WorldCup Final.”

Known for chart-topping hits such as “Anywhere”, “Your Song”, “Let You Love Me”, Ora has established herself as one of Britain’s most successful pop artists. Apart from music, Ora has also appeared in films and television projects while serving as a judge and mentor on multiple talent shows.

Meanwhile, Australia added another golden chapter to their rich World Cup history as they captured the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 title on Sunday. In front of a 28,000-plus record crowd at the Lord’s Cricket Ground, Australia ended England’s perfect record at home World Cups with a seven-wicket win in the final.

Australia wrapped up their invincible run at the tournament in style, overhauling England’s total of 150/4 to register the highest successful run chase at a Women’s T20 World Cup final.

The great Beth Mooney once again anchored Australia’s chase with 64 off 49 as they finished at 153/3 in 17.1 overs. This is Australia’s seventh T20 World Cup crown, and a stunning 14th women’s World Cup overall.
