Punjab National Bank is offering 6.50 per cent interest on FD accounts with a 666-day maturity period to customers up to 59 years of age. Additionally, the state-owned bank is offering 7.00 per cent interest on 666-day FD schemes for senior citizens aged 60 years and above. Punjab National Bank is offering 7.30 per cent interest on 666-day FD schemes for super senior citizens aged 80 years and above. These interest rates apply to deposits of less than Rs 3 crore.

Punjab National Bank offers senior citizens 0.50 per cent higher interest on FD accounts than regular citizens. This state-owned bank also offers super senior citizens 0.30 per cent higher interest on FD accounts than regular senior citizens. FD interest rates depend on the repo rate
