India will take on the West Indies in the third and final ODI of the series, looking to maintain their dominant run in 50-over cricket after securing an unassailable 2-0 lead.
India and the West Indies will face off against each other for the last time in the third and final match of the one-day international series. The Shreyas Iyer-led Men in Blue have won the series with an unassailable 2-0 lead, making the last match rather inconsequential.
The Indian cricket team will look to build on its impressive ODI form, while the West Indies will be desperate to salvage some pride with a much-needed victory.
India & West Indies all set to face off in New Chandigarh
In the IND-WI series so far, stars like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and captain Shubman Gill delivered breathtaking efforts. Kohli smashed a record-breaking ton in the first game, while Rohit delivered a vintage display of his batting prowess in the second. In both games, Gill played as an anchor, smashing a century and then a double hundred to announce his red-hot form in 50-over cricket.
West Indies, on the other hand, also had some centurions, who put up a splendid effort against the hosts. But India outclassed them with their batting brilliance in Trivandrum and Guwahati.
The bowlers, however, failed to seize any advantage due to the flat tracks in both venues.
