Virat Kohli achieved a historic milestone during India’s opening ODI against New Zealand, which further highlighted his enduring brilliance and his status as one of the greatest 50-over batters the game has ever seen.

Superstar Indian cricketer Virat Kohli added another huge achievement to his sprawling resume while in action against New Zealand in the series-opening ODI clash at Eden Park on Wednesday.

Kohli became the first player in international cricket history to score more than 13,000 ODI runs while batting at No. 3. The star batter remains a global icon and continues to defy age and expectations, adding to his remarkable list of records and achievements at 37.

Kohli attains huge milestone

Kohli needed just 12 runs to clinch the milestone, which he did on the 13th ball of his knock in the seventh over as India chased the 186-run target.
