Actor Adam Sandler offered simple yet heartfelt marriage advice to newlyweds Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce after officiating their star-studded wedding at Madison Square Garden on July 3.

ย

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid revealed the details of the speech, describing Sandlerโ€™s guidance to “keep kissing” as a hysterical yet deeply touching message of daily affection.

ย

“He told them to keep kissing,” Reid shared, adding, “So, in its simplest form, that’s a good thing.”

ย

Reid further elaborated on Sandler’s advice, emphasising consistency in small gestures of love. “It’s hard to argue when you give your wife a kiss or your wife gives you a kiss,” he continued, adding, “Make sure you do it every day, every minute that you have an opportunity to do it. Knock it out, and you won’t have problems.”

ย

Reid also praised the tone and delivery of the ceremony, calling Sandler’s role memorable and entertaining. “In a simple, hysterical way, he was phenomenal,” Reid said, adding, “He’s crazy, but he did a great job in getting them married with a lot of humour.”

The ceremony drew praise from several attendees, including television personality George Stephanopoulos, who described Sandler’s role as “funny and touching” in a July 4 statement. He also described the wedding atmosphere as intimate and emotionally rich despite its large scale.

ย

“Vows, everything you would hope for, real, vulnerable, serious and silly. Deeply loving. Who knew that a wedding in Madison Square Garden could be so intimate?”

Sandler’s appearance at the ceremony adds to a long-standing connection between the families, with both Swift and Kelce previously sharing public mutual appreciation for his work.
