Tehran: The situation in the Middle East once again escalated on Monday after Iran launched one of its biggest missile attacks on Israel in response to its attacks on Beirut and Lebanon. philippines: An earthquake of magnitude 7.8 hit the Mindanao region in southern Philippines on Monday, leaving one person dead and four injured before triggering a tsunami alert, said the US Geological Survey. The earthquake struck around 7.37 am local time, with its epicentre at 24.7 km west-southwest of Burias. It struck at the dept of 35 km (22 miles) off the island of Mindanao.
