Washington: Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday was left embarrassed yet again after President Donald Trump skipped his name but mentioned Army chief Field Marshal Asim Munir in social media post, appealing several Muslim countries to join the Abraham Accords and formally recognise Israel. Colombo: Sri Lanka has announced a new travel facility that will allow visitors from 40 countries, including India, to receive free on-arrival visas. The move was confirmed by the Department of Immigration and Emigration on Monday. Under the new system, eligible tourists will be granted a 30-day visa when they arrive in Sri Lanka. The visa will also allow double entry during its validity period, starting from the date of first arrival. Tehran: Iran on Monday hit out at the United States (US) over peace negotiations and said though the two sides have reached an understanding on several issues, it would be wrong to say that the agreement is imminent.
