Bigg Boss 20: Mahhi Vij Takes Dig at Mary Kom’s Personal Life

The September 19 episode of Bigg Boss 20 featured a heated confrontation between boxer Mary Kom and actress Mahhi Vij after contestants were asked to identify the housemate they felt had contributed the least to the game.

The task was assigned in the confession room to Mahhi Vij, Uditi Singh and Aasif Khan. They had to jointly name one contestant, with the house promised ration in return. Mahhi and Uditi first proposed Love Gill’s name, but Aasif disagreed. When he suggested Aman Gandhi, the two women rejected his choice.

Mahhi then named Mary Kom, saying she had mainly seen the boxer working in the kitchen. She also appeared to forget Mary’s name and asked Uditi, “What is that kick boxer’s name?” Aasif objected to the reasoning, maintaining that Mary had contributed more to the game than some of the other contestants. The disagreement eventually led to Bigg Boss cancelling the task.

Mary later confronted Mahhi and Uditi about their remarks. She said that she cooks for and feeds everyone in the house, and questioned what the other contestants contribute. Mary also criticised them for focusing on makeup and new clothes while questioning her role in the house.

Uditi responded sharply, telling Mahhi that Mary was “talking bulls*it” and suggesting that contestants were expected to place her on a pedestal because she was a legend.

The exchange intensified when Mary referred to the responsibilities of running a household and being a mother. She told Mahhi that managing a home was not easy and that, as a mother, she should understand this.

Mahhi objected to the remark and asked Mary not to bring motherhood into the dispute. She accused Mary of crossing a line and then made personal comments about being a better mother, respecting her husband and not damaging the reputation of her children’s father.

Isha Rikhi, who was present during the confrontation, intervened and asked Mahhi not to involve Mary’s personal life, husband or marriage in the argument. Despite the intervention, the discussion continued.
