Cong issues notice to MLA for backing Shivakumar as Karnataka CM

The Congress State Disciplinary Committee has served a show cause notice to Channagiri MLA Basavaraju V Shivaganga on Sunday. The notice was issued after he stated that Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar would become the next Chief Minister of Karnataka.The statement by Shivaganga has restarted the discussion about a leadership change.
