Two days after the devastating flash floods in Nepal and Tibet that left more than 460 people dead, an earthquake of 5.1 magnitude earthquake struck Sichuan region in southwest China on Friday, reported Xinhua news agency.  The quake occurred around 1.13 pm local time and the tremors were felt in Longchang. The epicentre, meanwhile, was located around 29.23 degrees north latitude and 105.22 degrees east longitude, said the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC), adding that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 13 kilometres. Kathmandu: The catastrophic flash floods in Nepal have claimed the lives of 469 till now, said the police on Friday morning, as authorities have stepped up their efforts for a relief and rescue operation. However, they fear the death count may rise further as more than 1,400 people, including hundreds of foreign nationals, still remain missing.  As per Nepal's authorities, foreign nationals from over 30 countries are missing since Wednesday's tragedy. Kathmandu: The apocalyptic flash floods in Nepal and Tibet have killed hundreds, while many more remain missing, as authorities fear that the death count may rise.
