A Kuwait-flagged oil vessel with 21 Indian seafarers was targeted while it was transiting through the Strait of Hormuz, said Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal. At least two people were killed following a drone attack at a Saudi Aramco's Shaybah oil facility, said officials on Thursday. The attack, most likely caused by the Yemen-based Houthis, happened on Wednesday morning when the kingdom's military intercepted a drone that was attempting to target the facility. The drone was intercepted but it caused a fire in a vehicle belonging to a contractor operating at the oil field, outside the facility's perimeter, killing two people, who were identified as Filipino and Nepali nationals.
