New Delhi: A fire broke out in the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone (FOIZ) in the United Arab Emirates, caused by debris from a drone that was intercepted by air defense systems. Moscow: Russian President Vladimir Putin has stepped in to try to reduce rising tensions in the Middle East after a series of strikes on energy and civilian sites across the Gulf region. The Kremlin said on Tuesday that he plans to carry the concerns of Gulf Arab leaders directly to Tehran, hoping to prevent further escalation. New Delhi: Israel on Tuesday carried out an airstrike on a building in Qom that houses Iran’s Council of Experts, according to an Israeli defence official cited by various media reports. The council is the body responsible for selecting Iran’s new supreme leader. Tehran: The Indian Embassy in Iran on Tuesday said several Indian students have been shifted to safer locations outside Tehran as Iran’s capital city continues to bear the brunt of ardent strikes by the US and Israel. The consulate said some students voluntarily chose to stay back in Tehran and failed to comply with the embassy's offer.
