Cabinet clears Rs 3,631 crore plan to link Jewar International Airport with Faridabad, Gurugram
Noida: The Union Cabinet on Tuesday approved a revised project cost of Rs 3,630.77 crore for the development of a new road corridor that will improve access to the upcoming Jewar International Airport in Uttar Pradesh. The decision was taken by the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The project involves the construction of a 31.42-kilometre greenfield road that will connect the airport with the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway through the Delhi-Faridabad-Ballabhgarh-Sohna spur.
