New Delhi: The government on Tuesday eased foreign direct investment (FDI) rules for all countries sharing borders with India, including China. Sources said that the amendment in this regard has been made in Press Note-3 of 2020. This decision was taken in the Union Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Govt invokes ESMA to ensure supply of natural gas amid US-Israel-Iran war, here’s what it means

New Delhi: The government has invoked the Essential Commodities Act of 1955 (popularly called ESMA) in order to ensure the supply of natural gas amid the US-Israel-Iran war.
