Mumbai: Rates of precious metals in futures tumbled on Monday, April 13, 2026, amid a surge in oil prices following failed US-Iran peace talks and a strong dollar. The gold June 5 contract on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) opened with a drop of Rs 1,105 or 0.72 per cent at Rs 1,51,547 per 10 grams against the previous close of Rs 1,52,652.
