A new generation of “Peaky Blinders” is here!
After patriarch Tommy Shelby, played by Irish actor Cillian Murphy, bowed out in the recently-released “The Immortal Man”, the film spin-off of the superhit series, the Shelby family is set for a leap. The next chapter, which is currently under production in Birmingham, will be set a decade after World War II as the re-building of Birmingham, destroyed during the Blitz, starts to gather pace.
The fresh season of the six-episode series will feature “Stranger Things” star Charlie Heaton as Tommy’s son Charles Shelby. The untitled sequel of “Peaky Blinders” will also star Jamie Bell as Duke Shelby, the half-brother of Charles. In “The Immortal Man”, Duke was played by Barry Keoghan.

“Having fought a violent war, much of it behind enemy lines, Charles Shelby is now embracing normality,” reads the synopsis. “He hasn’t seen his half-brother Duke in years. Charles severed all ties to the Peaky Blinders gang, and the hedonistic Shelby lifestyle. But can you ever escape your own blood?”
The cast of the show also includes Jessica Brown Findlay, Lashana Lynch, and Lucy Karczewski.
While the makers are yet to announce a release date, the series will premiere on BBC iPlayer and BBC One in the UK, the rest of the world can watch it on Netflix.
“Peaky Blinders” is written and created by Steven Knight and produced by Banijay UK companies Kudos and Garrison Drama.
