Bollywood actors Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have welcomed their second child, a baby girl. The couple shared the news in a joint Instagram post on Saturday evening, September 19, 2026.

The announcement featured an image of a babyโs footprint and marked the familyโs expansion from three members to four. Their post carried the message: โWelcome Baby Girl. 19|9|2026 Dua, Deepika and Ranveer.โ It was also captioned with an evil eye emoji.

Deepika and Ranveer are already parents to their daughter Dua. A day before the birth, the couple visited Mumbaiโs Siddhivinayak Temple to seek blessings.
The couple had recently shared a series of intimate black-and-white photographs on the occasion of Duaโs second birthday. One image showed Ranveer holding Deepikaโs baby bump as they smiled with their foreheads touching. Deepika was seen in a fitted lace outfit, while Ranveer wore a white shirt with trousers.

Deepika Padukone will next appear in Siddharth Anandโs King, which features Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan. She is also part of Atleeโs science-fiction action film Raaka, led by Allu Arjun.
