Former CBFC chief Pahlaj Nihalani passes away at 76
Veteran film producer and former Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) chairperson Pahlaj Nihalani passed away on Thursday at the age of 76, his longtime friend Shashi Ranjan confirmed. Born on January 10, 1950, Nihalani began his journey in the Hindi film industry as a producer with the 1982 film 'Haathkadi'. Over the years, he established himself as a prominent figure in Bollywood and played a key role in launching the careers of several actors.
