Hardy Sandhu detained by Chandigarh police before performance

Punjabi singer and actor Hardy Sandhu was detained by Chandigarh police on Saturday just moments before his scheduled performance at a fashion show at the Sector 34 exhibition ground in Chandigarh.  The incident occurred when Sandhu was preparing for a sound check ahead of his performance, which was set to begin at 6:30 pm. Police officials arrived at the scene and instructed Sandhu and the event organizers to provide separate permission for the live performance.
