Amid uncertainty over the veteran’s status, the cricketer has made a crystal-clear remark about his future, confirming his association with the Delhi-based IPL franchise.
With the Delhi Capitals bringing back Rishabh Pant from the Lucknow Super Giants in the off-season, Rahul’s future in the franchise was under scrutiny, with the veteran being linked to other teams.

Delhi Capitals was the first to quash the Rahul trade rumours with a dedicated video on Rahul on social media. Franchise co-owner Parth Jindal echoed a similar sentiment, saying that they have ‘unfinished business’
“KL IS KLUTCH FOR @DelhiCapitals – one of the nicest guys i know and one who puts the team before himself always. We have unfinished business and will work hard together to make Delhi proud @IPL,” Jindal posted on ‘X’.
Rahul responded to Jindal’s post by thanking him and expressing his excitement to continue his association with DC. His response confirmed that he would don the Delhi jersey in the upcoming IPL season.
