Leonardo DiCaprio can take a joke!

After comedian Nikki Glaser joked about DiCaprioโs personal life during the Golden Globes, the โTitanicโ star sent her a special gift signalling that he wasn’t offended.

During her recent appearance on “The Tonight Show,” Glaser revealed that DiCaprio sent her “three baskets of pasta” as a surprise gift after she roasted him in her monologue at Golden Globe Awards held in January this year.

In her monologue, Glaser poked fun about DiCaprioโs history of dating younger women, remarking that his massive career success is especially impressive since he achieved it all “before your girlfriend turned 30.”

While she conceded the joke was a “cheap” shot, she teasingly defended the jab by telling DiCaprio that because he is so private, “we don’t know anything else about you, man.”

“The most in-depth interview you’ve ever given was in Teen Beat magazine in 1991,” Glaser said. “Is your favourite food still ‘pasta, pasta, and more pasta’? Look it up. That’s real,” she joked.

Glaser was referencing an actual Teen Beat magazine article where DiCaprio did, in fact, list “pasta, pasta and more pasta” as his favourite food. DiCaprio laughed and nodded in agreement while responding to Glaser’s question.

On “The Tonight Show,” Glaser revealed that after hosting an awards show, she always sends flowers “to everyone that I made fun of that was a good sport about it, which was everyone, just to say thank you.” DiCaprio, however, was the only one who sent a gift back.

Glaser also joked that after receiving the baskets of pasta from DiCaprio, “Part of me was like, does Leo want to smash? I was like, alright. But the type of girl he goes for, he wouldn’t send pasta to.”

This yearโs Golden Globes was Glaser’s second time hosting the awards ceremony, and she has already been confirmed to return as host in 2027.

Confirming the same in March, she joked: “I’m thrilled to host the Golden Globes for a third time, not only because it’s the greatest gig I’ve ever had, but because my sister has three kids and now we will be equal in the eyes of my parents and the Lord.”
