Priya Marathe, who was 38, had been undergoing cancer treatment. She passed away on Mira Road, according to TV9 Marathi. In her personal life, she married her longtime friend and fellow actor, Shantanu Moghe, in 2012. Renowned Marathi actor Shantanu has starred in films such as “Ravrambha,” “Swarajyarakshak Sambhaji,” and “Enigma – The Fallen Angel.”ย

The pair even collaborated on the historical drama series “Swarajyarakshak Sambhaji.” They both loved to travel, and they frequently shared photos from their trips on social media. Shrikant Moghe, Priya’s father-in-law, was a seasoned Marathi theater and movie actor as well. At the age of 91, he died at home in Pune on March 7, 2021.
The Hindi television series “Kasamh Se” marked the start of Priya Marathe’s career, according to IMDb. He further shared, “She was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago. After fighting it, she started working again and returned to the audience with her beautiful acting in dramas and serials. But the cancer didn’t leave her. Her troubles began again during our series ‘Tu Metshi Navane’. Her partner, @shantanusmoghe, was with her every step of the way.
