Actors Mark Wahlberg and Riz Ahmed will lead the upcoming true-life crime thriller film “The Big Fix”.

Directed by Baltasar Kormรกkur, the film is inspired by real events and follows a former Interpol officer (Wahlberg) relegated to a bureaucratic desk job at FIFA. His quiet role is upended when he uncovers a massive international match-fixing conspiracy.

The investigation leads him on a global pursuit of a passionate hustler (Ahmed) who has partnered with Chinese Triads to rig football matches for millions. What follows is a high-octane, globetrotting cat-and-mouse game, escalating into a tense conflict between two unyielding opponents.
