Mamata Banerjee rules out Congress alliance for 2026 Bengal polls

A day after West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee ruled out an alliance between the Trinamool Congress (TMC) and Congress for the 2026 state elections, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut suggested that she should continue discussions with Congress. Vijayan joins Opposition to resist Centre’s deep-sea mining project
