Australian actress Samara Weaving is finally a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

According to reports, Weaving has been cast in Marvelโs reboot of โThe X-Men.โ She will portray Emma Frost, a powerful telepath whose comic book history spans a dramatic redemption arc from supervillain to superhero.

โThe X-Menโ will be directed by Jake Schreier, who oversaw last yearโs โThunderbolts.โ

This casting follows Marvelโs massive Hall H showcase at San Diego Comic-Con 2026. During the panel, the studio thrilled fans by introducing Ryan Gosling as the new Ghost Rider and announcing that โAlien: Romulusโ star David Jonsson will inherit the crown as Wakanda’s next leader in โBlack Panther 3โ.
