New Delhi: Amazon’s cloud unit, AWS’ (Amazon Web Services) power to one of its data centers in the United Arab Emirates was temporarily shut down after objects struck the facility, causing sparks and a fire. The company said the incident occurred at around 4:30 AM PST in one of its “Availability Zones,” which are separate, isolated locations within AWS regions. Kabul: Afghanistan’s Taliban government has reportedly targeted several key military installations in Pakistan. According to media reports, the Afghan Taliban claimed its forces carried out drone strikes on important airbases and military facilities inside Pakistan.
