Mumbai: Indian equity benchmark indices, the Sensex and Nifty, sustained yesterday's rally and opened in the green amid mixed global cues as Brent crude approached USD 94 and US bond yields climbed again. Alaska : A charter plane carrying eight people crashed Thursday near a remote radar site in western Alaska, a federal official said. Clint Johnson, chief of the National Transportation Safety Board’s Alaska region, said the aircraft was carrying two pilots and six passengers. Mogadishu: Six Indians were among the 10-member crew of a Cameroon-flagged cargo ship hijacked by pirates off Somalia’s Puntland coast earlier this week, according to a Somali official. The M/V LUTUF, owned by Polar Movement Shipping, was seized on Monday about 3.5 nautical miles off Marraya in Puntland’s Eyl district and was subsequently taken toward the Nugaal coast. New Delhi: State Bank of India on Thursday issued a public notice on X, saying it has revised the cash withdrawal charges, effective 1 October 2026, for Basic Savings Bank Deposit (BSBD) Accounts opened through Branch Channel.
