India vice-captain Smriti Mandhana made history at the 2026 Women’s Asia Cup, smashing a solid 64-ball 124 to help the Women in Blue thrash Hong Kong by 137 runs at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Thursday.
The Indian opener delivered a statement performance against Hong Kong, obliterating its bowling unit with her batting pedigree. The 30-year-old broke multiple records during the match, cementing her legacy as one of the finest female cricketers globally.

Mandhana snaps multiple records
Mandhana’s second T20 international hundred helped her surpass the legendary Mithali Raj to become the leading run-getter in women’s international cricket. The India vice-captain has scored 10,880 runs across all formats, surpassing Mithali’s 10,868.
The Indian opener also became the women’s cricketer with the most international hundreds across formats, surpassing Australian cricketer Meg Lanning (17) after smashing her 18th hundred against Hong Kong in Dubai. She is also the only Indian women’s cricketer to score two T20 international hundreds.
