Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who arrived in Kyrgyzstan's Bishkek on Sunday, will hold bilateral meetings with Russian President Vladimir Putin and likely with Chinese premier Xi Jinping on sidelines of the 26th Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit on Monday.  While there is confirmation that PM Modi and Putin will hold a bilateral meeting, there is no clarity on talks with Xi. Kathmandu: While the situation remains uncertain as rescue operations continue following the apocalyptic flash floods in Nepal, the death count has increased to 903, while more than 4,000 -- including 320 foreign nationals -- remain missing, said authorities on Monday.  According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA), 272 bodies have been recovered from Chitwan, 207 from Nawalparasi East, 151 from Nawalparasi West and 62 from Gorkha districts. San Francisco: Union Minister Suresh Gopi on Monday said all necessary steps would be taken to bring back the mortal remains of two women from Kerala who were allegedly murdered in California, United States. The deceased have been identified by their relatives as Anjana, a native of Mudikkode in Thrissur, and Ann Mathew, a native of Kesavadasapuram in Thiruvananthapuram. According to their relatives, the two women were living in the same apartment in California along with their families. New York: Former Venezuelan president Nicolas Maduro has shared the first known photographs of himself inside US custody since he was captured in January, offering a glimpse of the ousted leader nearly eight months after he was taken to the United States. Maduro posted two photographs on his social media accounts on Sunday, August 30. In the images, he is seen wearing a grey tracksuit and white sneakers, smiling and making victory signs with his hands.
